Located in a residential area but downtown, Ginosi Pedralbes is conveniently near a metro station down the hill. the rooms are clean and compact with comfortable beds, offering a good night's sleep. the shower room/toilet is tastefully appointed and the hotel provides small amenities such as shampoo sachets. Guests can also enjoy the advantage of having a small fridge in the room.
Staff availability and communication could be improved.

The staff was really friendly
The shower glass door was not sealed on the bottom part and therefore the water was spread on the floor

I enjoy taking bath in that nice bathroom.
I didn't like the noise made by air conditioned wich was placed outside. I couldn't sleep to well.

The bed was really comfortable, and the staff was nice and helpful.
The room was extremely small. The distance between the legs part of the bed and the wall is less then a foot, and there is no room for a closet in the room itself, so they put the closet next to the sink (the toilet and shower are in a more inner room. It means that to get to your clothes you must enter the sink room, and close the door behind you. There is no door between the shower/toilet room and the sink/closet room either.

The room was clean and had a fridge and a/c. the bed was comfortable. the location was accessible with public transport and there was a lift to all floors.
The staff was not reliable and availability was limited. the breakfast was not good, and the hotel lacked basic amenities like a safe and a sitting area.

upon arrival they sent us to another hotel of 4* due to issues on their reservation planning
they should have phoned us in advance to communicate the change and/or let us choose another hotel at our convenience

the staff were very accommodating, and friendly.
we got what we paid for, the hotel was tired and in desperate need of updating. the rooms were small as we had our 16 year old son with us so we had three single beds in the room so it was very tight.the bathroom needed re tiling, the air conditioning unit did'nt work efficiently so we were to hot during the night. Their was'nt an extractor fan in the bathroom so after a shower the room was too hot and full of condensation. The breakfast was too expensive at 16 euros per person, the little cafe down the street did the same breakfast for 6 euros. The hotel info said the metro was 5 mins from the hotel, more like 15 mins and all uphill. We would not stay at this hotel again, as it was too far from the main sight- seeing sites of the city although the metro system was very good, its too far to walk in the heat of summer.

Location is very convenient, close to public transportation and easily accessible. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable for a good night's sleep. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing useful information and recommendations.
The hotel could use some renovations as the furniture and facilities seemed a bit outdated. The bathroom could have been cleaner.
